Why "Untamed Arte"?
Art has always been something that makes me tick. Ever since I was little all forms of art has really intrigued me. Luckily, I grew up surrounded by talented family members that inspired me and still do. Art was a hobby, just last year I decided to take my art more seriously but Untamed Arte was created a couple of years ago.
Why “Untamed Arte”, why not just my last name followed by designs? Which makes sense and I was going to do that but surprisingly I share the same last name with other fellow artists. So, I brainstormed to see what name I could come up with to describe my art and me as an artist. I thought about it for days. I came up with absolutely nothing, I could not think of a word(s) to call my art and that is how Untamed Arte was born.
It’s hard for me to describe my art or what I specialize in because it’s always changing. I’m always experimenting with different paint, mediums, canvases and technique. I do get bored easily so I try to challenge myself to create differently. I think that the simplest subject can be turned into a masterpiece; it all has to do with how you put it together. I chose to name my page Untamed Arte has an umbrella for all the non-traditional tactics I use to create. I’m not necessarily wild or my art but I love to create with whatever I can get my hands on. That is why I named my page Untamed Arte.
Oh, and Arte just means art in Spanish.
